May News – DMD v.18 Release Date

Hi Guys!

Today I bring you news that I know a lot of you have been waiting patiently for.

The Official release date for DMD v18 will be on SATURDAY, MAY 26th.

My team and I have been working on the continuation of the game this week, and we’ve made a significant change to how v17 ended. After discussion’s with my chief writer “HearszAM”, we thought it would be best to re-write the last few lines as to not make D and F’s departure from her country overly forced, and to make their eventual time to leave more plausible.

At the time of creating v17 and then having to delay it’s initial release, due to having to remove the game from Patreon, this particular scene was pretty rushed, given our urgent need to post the game up here on my official website.

The most important thing was being able to get v17 out for you guys, and at the time, I wasn’t sure when we would be able to continue working on it again. But now that that time has come, and after re-assessing how v17 ended, we figured it would be best to change that last scene.

As for v.18, the story will focus on the aftereffect of the events between D and F from the night before, and during the morning scene. There will also be the long-awaited trip out to the countryside to look forward to, which we’re currently in the process of looking at locations and outdoor themed scenery to include in this update as well.

Right now, we don’t know exactly how many more episodes of DMD we will release. A lot of that will depend on fan support, how well the BMAC system works for us, whether a better platform becomes available – a lot of things really!

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to those that have donated to me through the “Buy Me a Coffee” system.
It just shows how much you all care about DMD continuing, and hopefully, my team and I can get through to a conclusion (without any more interruptions), that I know that you are all hoping to see.

At present, my team and I are working on two updates of MELODY, and then one update of DMD, on this rotation.

So after DMD is released at the end of this month, then June and July will be spent working on v0.0.3 and v0.0.4 of Melody, and August we will focus our work on DMD v19.

    1. Allow me to elaborate on that.

      We have a set amount of episodes we have in mind in order to complete the game and give it a proper ending.

      However, if circumstances change where things are complete out of our control, then that number may need to be reduced, hence why we stated that we don’t know exactly how many more episodes there will be.

      We can’t predict the future, but we will certainly adapt if any Patreon-like problems arise in the future, just like we have in recent months in order to keep DMD running.

    1. We’ll find a way. A lot of people wrote us off after the game was taken down from Patreon, saying that the game was dead and there’d be no continuation. Yet here we are, three weeks away from an update.

  15. So you rewrote the last few lines of .17 are they in now so we can download them or will they be put in when you release .18. And i hope that you all will finish DMD and not rush it. I personally will wait as long as it takes for you guys to finish it the way you wanted too. Which means all 3 chapters. In all the forums that i am in where people have said this game will not be finished i have backed you up and said it would be because i believe you will finish it. you have not been late on any release when you said it was going to be and if it was you have said something. Now i only have been here since .12 but still you have been up front to my knowledge. When Patreon made you take DMD down instead of leaving it running you paused it till Melody started unlike other devs who didnt. I dont pledge to TP but i hear his page is still running and on F95 the game has been marked abandoned. So please please take DMD to the end.

    1. The only news that you need to concern yourself with, (with regards to DMD) is ours Scott. Any negative thoughts that are posted are just pure speculation, only our posts are the one’s that matter here.

      As for those last few lines of v17, they will be added into the v18 update.

      Just on Melody, we actually had no plans written up for that game or any ideas when we began creating it.

      At the time, we didn’t know that DMD would be pulled from Patreon for good.
      But our team didn’t wait around feeling sorry for ourselves. We didn’t have a solution on how to continue with DMD straight away. It was quite a stressful time for all of us involved.

      But we knew we wanted to work on something as soon as possible and somehow we managed to create a storyline, the character designs and the first two weeks of the game within the space of five weeks! That’s how dedicated and passionate we are in making these games.

      But I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised that Melody was received so well. So now we find ourselves with two games that people genuinely like/love playing instead of just one.

      I’d like to see that DMD being pulled from Patreon as a blessing in disguise, given that Melody wouldn’t even exist had that not have happened.

  20. I was watching the movie Blockers the other day and it really struck me how unrealistic it is how into handjobs and blowjobs the women are in sex games. Usually you get a handy when your girl is tired and wants you to stop bugging her. Even porn stars can’t hide they hate it. I think the Dad will come across as less selfish if he puts emphasis on pleasuring the girls, too. It’s kind of unbalanced so far. Blockers brought up the point that a lot of girls usually arrange to lose their v-card first and usually blowjobs and other such acts would come later. So in essence the daughter has gotten a worse deal out of dating Daddy rather than if she had a boyfriend her own age. She’s not really getting the benefits of dating someone older and more experienced, I hope that can change in future updates.

    1. Blockers is a movie with an plot idea that they would all lose their virginity in one ceremonial night. In my experience having lived through that period is that is not the norm. There is an interesting Center for Disease Control study talked about in this link that indicates oral sex seems to precede vaginal sex except where the girls are younger teens.

  21. You’re now the only one I Patreon because of DmD. The main game I care about and the best one out there. I love Melody as well and it’s great you can put together something so great, better than most the stuff out there. However DmD is why I’m still giving you money and what I look forward to progressing storywise. If you ever get a new payment platform I’ll switch, but want to give you at least some regular income to support it.

    1. HI Pradeep. We don’t normally post update status’ for each version of our games, however, I can tell you that we’re about 3/4’s of the way through our storyline for v18, and hope to finish it up by mid-next week.

      Then we’ll spend the last week and half on proofreading, beta testing the game, adding extra scenes if they’re required.

      2. Hard to say at this point as we haven’t done a Beta test as yet. But we’re a few days out from finishing up the scripts for v18.
        Also, we’ve had a week less to work on DMD as opposed to v0.0.2 of Melody, so there could be less content compared to that update, but that may not be necessarily true either.

        For the three months that have passed since the last release of DMD (v17), we’ve had a fair idea of what would happen in this update, and what scenes will be pushed back to v19-20.

        Certain things will be left on the cutting room floor so to speak due to the fact that we’re unable to release the game each month.

        We just want to make sure that we include all the best ideas we’ve had in place for a the past six months.

    1. Hi Bruno. It really depends on which game you want.

      The cheapest you can get both games for is to pledge $5 on Patreon for Melody (it doesn’t have the extra images or animated bonuses though) and buy one coffee ($5) to get DMD.

  30. This is the best Lewd CG VN game I have ever played. Some of the best character models I have seen and a rich multi-path story. The achievement system in chapter 1 keeps the replay value up. I am so sorry patreon went SJW with their censorship. I hate a creator having to change their art because of some politically correct bullshit. Keep up the great work.

  37. Developer. Even though I sponsor the developer, it’s hard to see the preview. The developer will send you an email, but I always look at the picture in F95 ZONE. And it takes about 5 days to get a preview. I’m not seeing the preview picture I sent today. What is the cause? It’s too hard.

  40. I prefer Melody (the incest craze has just never quite been my cup of tea and I find her to be a much more likeable character) but I am happy to see both continuing, as I know how popular DMD is (I do like it, I just prefer Melody).

    Melody is one of my favourite of these types of games and I can’t wait for the next version.
